NI Refugee Resettlement Service
The NI Refugee Resettlement Service supports individuals and families arriving in Northern Ireland who have been forced to flee their homes and who have been granted refugee status and given leave to remain in the UK.
While the number of refugees and asylum seekers in Northern Ireland has increased in recent years, Northern Ireland hosts only 2.6% of all the people in the UK who are seeking sanctuary.
We go beyond by extending practical support and facilitating connections with essential statutory services, ensuring a smoother resettlement process for families arriving in Northern Ireland.
In a collaborative effort alongside esteemed partners such as Barnardo’s NI, Bryson Intercultural, and the Red Cross, we provide a holistic resettlement service.
Referrals to this service are channelled through the UK government, which identifies families in need of resettlement, emphasising our commitment to aiding those most in need during their journey towards a new life.
