About the role

Sitting on the Operational Leadership Team, the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will take the lead on developing the fundraising function within the organisation across the island of Ireland.

They will have responsibility for generating income from a range of benefactors, including major donors, philanthropic trusts and foundations and corporate partners. As an ambassador for Extern, they will lead out on campaigns, cultivate and build relationships with new and existing donors, and play a key role in supporting Extern to achieve its mission.

To take the lead on this exciting opportunity, Extern is seeking a highly experienced, ambitious, enthusiastic and results-focussed fundraiser with a demonstrable track record in building lasting partnerships.

About the role

As a Janus Keyworker you will work with service users to improve their quality of life within their community by promoting wellbeing, independence, healthy life choices and training & employability options. These young people present with varying and complex needs any work will include engaging in and participating in overarching statutory care plans.

This is multi-disciplinary work which requires an ability to engage partners as well as young people and families. As a Janus worker, one will need to be resilient enough and open minded to deal with some of the challenges that such complex needs can present.
