As a Support Services Officer at Extern, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our support functions. This multifaceted role covers key areas including the administration of Extern’s fleet of owned and leased vehicles, oversight of estates and facilities, coordination of insurance matters, and support for health and safety compliance across the organisation.

Reach Out by Extern offers vital support to individuals affected by substance or alcohol misuse, suicide, self-harm, and mental health challenges in the Greater Belfast area. As a Counsellor, you will provide compassionate, client-centred therapeutic support to individuals navigating some of the most difficult periods in their lives.

MUST Hostel provides accommodation and tailored support to single people aged 18–65 who are homeless. The service adopts a flexible, person-centred approach to help individuals address the challenges they face and move towards greater stability and independence. With 20 beds, MUST supports both male and female residents and also serves as a Probation Approved Hostel, working closely with the Probation Board for Northern Ireland (PBNI).
As a Key Worker, you will take the lead in supporting a caseload of residents, helping them to develop and work through individual support plans, access services, and ultimately take steps towards more independent living.
