This far-reaching expertise will be essential to enable Extern to respond appropriately to the complex needs within communities and the people who use our services. We wish Leslie Ann much happiness and fulfilment in her new role.

On accepting the role as CEO, Leslie Ann Scott said: “I am thrilled to take on the role to lead Extern, I feel humbled and at the same time excited about the future. Our work is so much more than any one person can take on by themselves, that is why I am so proud of the exceptional staff team who work across our organisation, and in partnership with our funding commissioners we meet the ever-changing needs of the people who use our services without judgement.

“I look forward to the many opportunities we have ahead to continue to make a real and lasting impact on the future of families, young people and individuals who place their trust in us, to walk alongside them and to support them in a brighter future.
